| Recognizing the national trend toward a Center of Excellence approach for complex health problems, Michigan Brain & Spine Institute founded ANN ARBOR SPINE CENTER in early 2009. The spine center includes a multidisciplinary team of ortho and neurospine surgeons working together under one roof, along with a physical medicine physician who emphasizes non-surgical options, and McKenzie-trained spine therapists. As a work in progress, our goal is to improve the care of back and neck pain with a team approach that emphasizes non-surgical treatment options before spine surgery. |
